To be honest, I think debadged cars look very tacky. They always remind me of the pretentious drivers that try to hide what kind of BMW 3-series they are driving from the general public. We all know it's a 325i and they're not fooling anybody.

However, debadged does look clean. But why would you rid of such beautiful name off your baby?

Like luVlee has said, each and to their own but personally debadging spoils the car. I don't now how owners can contemplate tearing the Cooper name of their MINI :frown: Sorry to say such owners do not deserve to own a MINI and should maybe consider swapping for an an old Nova or Saxo to practice upon.

De-badged can look fine, as long as you don't get rid of the MINI badge. All the boy racers in Vauxhalls do that. Then again, I probably would if I was driving an ancient astra/nova.

I find it funny when people Re-Badge their cars. A clapped out Escort with an RS badge from Halfords glued to it; or even better a Rover Metro with a BMW badge in the centre of the steering wheel, as if to make you feel better when you drive it.

de badging is a waste of time.
You always find them to be One's One D's trying to hide it. Why? Be proud ouf you mini what ever the model.
As for Coopers adding Cooper S badges. WHY?? Its a bit like folk putting a Cooper S hood on a One. again, WHY?? You still know when you put your foot down you will still be wishing it was a genuine S. So save your heart ache and trade for a S, you can get sherished JCW's S's for less than 14K now.

If iun happy upgraded, or just wear it proud.
Remeber the old syaing, A Mini has feelings too!
Long live the badged One's and D's. :)

I do like the classic Cooper with a New Cooper badge look. Dont think a new Mini with a classic Cooper S badge would work though.

In my opinion debadging gives a much cleaner, symmetrical look to the rear of the car. Whether I had a One or a Cooper S it is something that I personally would do, as I'm not bothered what model of car people think I'm driving as long as it looks good in my eyes:D

I think it suits the S's really well with the exhaust being in the centre...
